Phongstorn Ermongkonchai

A well-seasoned and successful business leader in the automotive industry,  Phongstorn Ermongkonchai has extensive experience in human resources, corporate planning and marketing.  As the Chief of Commerce at Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., he is responsible for the sales and marketing of Yamaha motorcycles in Thailand with an annual revenue of more than 20 billion baht.  

Prior to this, Phongstorn lead the Global Human Resources Development at Yamaha Motor headquarters in Japan where he launched initiatives on the HR management of global core positions, succession management, executive education, and long term strategic planning.  In Thailand, he has more than ten years of experience in overall human resources functions, including job-based HR systems, competency-based HRD systems, and systematic OD implementation.  He has particular interests in human resources development, ethical conduct, and technology applications for HR. For his HR contributions, he has been the recipient of various awards from HR societies, international organizations, and the government sector.
